My interest in nutrition began when I was 17 and I read everything I could on the subject. However, it wasn’t until much later and after a career with BUPA, that I decided to retrain as a nutritional therapist. I qualified from Thames Valley University, London with a BSc degree in Nutritional Medicine in 2010.

I am a member of the British Association for Applied Nutrition and Nutritional Therapy (BANT) and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).

10 years ago I established Precious Health, a holistic therapy centre in Hale, Cheshire, where I could base myself and where I could promote a wide range of other therapies. There are so many ways in which people can improve their health and I believe in finding the right approach for each individual.

I have helped people with many different symptoms but my key areas of expertise include

·        Digestive health (e.g IBS, bloating, constipation, inflammation)

·        Weight loss

·        Fertility and Pregnancy

In addition to helping people on a one to one basis, I also work with businesses delivering wellbeing programmes to their employees. It’s a great way to spread the word about healthy eating. My health checks can highlight areas to focus on such as high cholesterol or blood sugar.

I have also appeared on BBC Radio 5 Live and write regularly for the local press and contribute articles to Kiddy Cook, cookery classes for children across the UK.
